2000 Chestnut Mare.

15 hands. 100% Foundation

 

This is a solid mare.  Duffy has great legs, bone, substance, and sound mind.  She has a hind left sock and a "bird spot" on her left side which is easily seen in pictures.  Duffy hasn't had much saddle training but her unflappable personality has allowed her to pick it up easily.  She has been started line driving and we look forward to putting her to work on the farm where we think her strength and temperment will suit farm work well.

 

 

The Bloodlines

Duffy has solid old bloodlines that are mostly founded in Lippitt stock.  She is line bred to Bald Mt Glory who is by the famous stallion Easter Twilight.  Her grandsire Meadowood Don Juan was a renown producer of great buggy horses used by local Amish families. 
 
Breeding Notes:

Foals by Silver Cross Royal Duke - Duffy is in foal to Duke for a 2019 foal. This foal will be line bred great horses such as Meadowood Don Juan, Archie O, and Fudge Royal just to name a few. 
​
Foals by Primus Blackhawk Knox will be crossing Black's strong Brunk lines on Duffy's strong Lippitt lines.
